On Friday 29th May , as a team, we visited Studland Beach to do a litter pick as part of our Community Give Back Program. This was part of the Million Mile Clean campaign by Surfers Against Sewage, to clean up our beaches and protect our environment.
The sun shone for us as we walked the 3 miles along the beach from Ferry Road port to The Bankes Arms pub, collecting litter along the way. We are pleased to report although some litter was collected, the beaches were reasonably clean and free from litter. We ended the afternoon with a well earnt cold drink in the pub garden and then hopped on the open top bus back to the ferry!
