Tell us about your role at AJC Group.
My role in land is really diverse and sees me involved with lots of aspects of land buying. I’m always busy searching for sites, particularly longer-term strategic opportunities.
What is the best thing about being part of the AJC Group team?
There’s always something fun in the diary and I really feel like I’m part of a happy team.
What do you enjoy the most about your role?
I think the variety I have from week to week keeps it interesting and shows me how much there is to learn!
Have you always worked in the housebuilding Industry?
What were your previous roles? I had a few property related roles before I settled on land, it definitely can take a while to figure out the route you want to take and stumble across a bit of good luck to push you in the right direction which was definitely the case for me. I had various internships when I finished university and did some property management then went in as a trainee land buyer in my previous role.
What has been highlight so far from your time at AJC Group?
We’ve got an amazing office overlooking the water so it’s been a great first summer here in general, but I attended a charity ball for Hope Housing in September which was a great chance to see what a difference AJC has made to the local community.
What are your hobbies outside of work?
I’m pretty sociable and like to have lots of plans in the diary, I also love keeping fit so I am out running a fair bit.
