Poole-based affordable housing specialist AJC Group has been shortlisted for two major categories at the upcoming South Coast Property Awards 2025: Housebuilder of the Year and Residential Development of the Year for its scheme, Lindsay Oaks in Branksome Park, Poole.
This recognition follows AJC Group’s outstanding performance in 2024, where the company delivered a record 100 affordable homes, up from 72 the previous year, confirming its position as a leader in affordable housing delivery across the Wessex region. Since 2023, AJC Group has completed and handed over a total of 172 affordable homes across five sites, making significant strides toward its ambitious goal of building 500 affordable homes by 2028.
In 2024 alone, AJC Group completed 186 units across three major housing developments. The 100 units allocated for affordable housing included 56 homes at The Hops (Dorchester Brewery) for Aster Group and 44 homes at Lindsay Road in Poole for Abri. An additional 86 homes were completed at AJC Group’s award-winning private development, The Sloop, in Poole.
The £15m Lindsay Oaks development, delivered in partnership with Abri, provides 44 affordable homes in one of Poole’s most sought-after postcodes. The scheme includes 28 shared ownership apartments and 16 for affordable rent, across three elegant three-storey buildings. Situated in the Branksome Park and Chine Conservation Area, Lindsay Oaks stands out for delivering high-quality, energy-efficient homes in a location where property values can be up to 12 times the local average earnings.

An awards ceremony will be held at the Hilton Utilita Bowl in Southampton, where the winners of the South Coast Property Awards 2025 will be announced on Thursday, the 12th of June.
