Affordable housing partner AJC Group has promoted two of its employees, Cherie Reed from Customer Care Coordinator to Senior Customer Care Coordinator, and Abigail Beavers from Quantity Surveyor to Head of Commercial. 

Cherie Reed who has been with AJC Group for two years, previously worked for retirement specialist  and developer McCarthy Stone. Cherie is an integral part of the customer relations team, and deals with all means of communication and administration relating to customer care. 

Abigail Beavers joined AJC Group back in May 2023, after working for the Affordable Housing & Healthcare Group. Abi completed her HNC in 2019 and then received a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying in 2022, whilst working full time. 

David Cracklen, Director of AJC Group, said: “We are proud to have promoted two employees within the business, who have carried out exceptional work during their time at AJC Group. We are delighted to be supporting their progression, with these promotions coming at a pivotal time, as we look to expand our team, and continuously work towards our goal of becoming the leading affordable housing provider in the Wessex region.” 

As Head of Commercial Abi will oversee the commercial department and work with the management team to deliver future growth for the business. In her new role, Cherie will be assisting with the management and guidance for AJC Group’s new starter Alana Gillard, who joins as Customer Care Coordinator. Cherie will continue to implement systems to assist with the performance of the Customer Care department.

Recently AJC Group scooped two awards at this year’s South Coast Property Awards, including the coveted Housebuilder of the Year, and Residential Development of the Year, with its apartment scheme The Sloop, located in central Poole. 

AJC Group is delivering 187 mixed-tenure homes in 2024, reflecting a total construction value in excess of £100m.
