The shortlist for the 2022 South Coast Property Awards has been announced, with AJC Group shortlisted for both Fast Rising Property Business of the Year, and Housebuilder of the Year.
The Business Magazine revealed the shortlist for the 14 highly contested categories to its entire regional readership. The category winners will be announced at a gala dinner on Thursday 29th September at The Hilton at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton. The event will be hosted by Marcus Brigstocke, a popular British comedian.
AJC Group has been shortlisted alongside Kingsbridge Estates, Paul Basham Associates, Pegasus Group, and Sillence Hurn Building Consultancy, for the Fast Rising Property Business of the Year. The shortlist for Housebuilder of the Year comprises CALA Homes, Highwood Group, and Kingswell Buildings – alongside AJC Group.
David Cracklen, Director of AJC Group said: “The Business Magazine’s South Coast Property Awards is a key event for the industry and the whole of AJC Group is thrilled to have made the shortlist in two fiercely contested categories. The quality of our residential projects, our design principles, and eco credentials has driven our recent growth, which we hope will strike a chord with the judges
“Congratulations to all those who have been shortlisted for these awards, and we look forward to catching up with everyone at the event next month, when we’ll all find out who’s won!”
AJC Group operates across the Wessex region. Recent projects that contributed to the two successful award submissions include 14 character-built apartments with sea views at West Cliff Gardens in Bournemouth, and a high-quality scheme of 56 new homes for shared ownership at the Dorchester Brewery regeneration. The company is also delivering 27 affordable homes in the picturesque North Dorset village of Okeford Fitzpaine on behalf of Registered Provider Aster Communities and, in the historic village of Hazelbury Bryan, 21 affordable homes for Abri Housing Association.
Commenting on the tough task the judges faced in selecting finalists and winners, Peter Laurie, Senior Adviser at awards organiser The Business Magazine, said: “The last 18 months have been like no other for the property sector. Businesses operating in both the commercial and residential property sectors have had to be agile in seeking new opportunities and these awards recognise their outstanding efforts.”
