Dorset-based developer AJC Group is kicking off its 2025 fundraising efforts with the Vitality Bournemouth Bay Run. The company has committed to supporting the Healthbus Trust for a second consecutive year, with the goal of raising £10,000.
The Vitality Bournemouth Bay Run will take place on Sunday 23rd March 2025 with a variety of distances from a children’s 1k up to a half marathon for adults. The Healthbus Trust is one of five headline charities. Eight of the AJC Group team will be running the half marathon route, stretching from Hengistbury Head to Bournemouth and Poole.
The AJC Group team includes Sebastian Janes, Managing Director, along with his wife, Megan Janes; Elliot Lines, Trainee Quantity Surveyor; Ben Mann, Technical Coordinator; Simon McFarlane, Planning Director; Antonella Aquilina, Finance Manager; Natalie Gomez, Client Relations Manager; Isabella Light, Assistant Land Buyer; and Bradley Fitzwalter, Site Manager.
AJC Group first partnered with the Healthbus Trust in early 2024, combining its passion for health and fitness with a competitive spirit to take on unique challenges. These included hauling a hefty 4.5-tonne Healthbus along Bournemouth’s beachfront, as well as a “skip, pull and push” challenge.
Throughout the year they have also committed to other fundraising events including a Healthbus Quiz, as well as a 5k Santa Run where the team braved the December cold and donned festive outfits.

Recently awarded The King’s Award for Voluntary Service, The HealthBus Trust operates a mobile clinic from specialist vehicles, including a converted ambulance, which has all the facilities of a medical practitioner’s office. Three to four days per week, the HealthBus team provides a safe GP-led service to vulnerable adults, working in close relationship with Homelessness Partnerships run by Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council (BCP).
AJC Group is delivering 80 affordable homes across three other sites, including 33 homes at Goods Yard in Broadstone for Abri Group, 22 homes in Hythe for the New Forest District Council (NFDC), and 25 homes in Dibden Purlieu for Aster Group. The company plans to break ground on 115 additional homes in 2025, reinforcing its commitment to achieving the 500 in 5 target.
