Michael Young

Construction Director

Michael joined the AJC Group as our Construction Operations Manager, and advanced to Construction Director. With almost 20 years of industry experience, his career has seen him through different roles across the industry.

His career began as an Apprentice Carpenter which later progressed to Trainee Quantity Surveyor and then Site Management for a small development company who specialised in housing schemes and care homes. He later joined Churchill Retirement Living where he successfully managed several large schemes and went onto win a NHBC Pride in the Job and the coveted Seal of Excellence in 2016.

Michael joined Bloor Homes in 2017 where he was promoted to Contracts Manager, overseeing large schemes across the Southern Region during a period of significant growth within the company.

With his wealth of experience, Michael brings invaluable technical, commercial and industry knowledge to his role at AJC Group.

Outside of his work, Michael enjoys golf, football and spending quality time with family and friends.
