<< Back

Tell us about your role at AJC Group.

I am a trainee site manager with AJC, my first role at AJC group was gaining experience in the different departments within the company, after that I moved on to site where I assisted with the completion of the sonnet project. As of now I am assisting on the job at Lindsay road with Bradley Fitzwalter. My main roles within this project are ensuring the quality is up to standard as well as keeping on top of housekeeping and health and safety.

What is the best thing about being part of the AJC Group team?

The best thing about being a member of the team is the culture within the team. The company has an exceptional family feel surrounding it, encouraging everyone to get involved in the ‘extra curricular activities’ and making everyone feel welcome within the team.

What do you enjoy the most about your role?

I enjoy the different challenges presented to me every day, on site there is no day the same.

Have you always worked in the housebuilding Industry? What were your previous roles?

When I was younger I worked on sites as a Labourer, but prior to working at AJC I worked in a marina as well as working at a local golf club.

What has been highlight so far from your time at AJC Group?

A highlight so far from my time at AJC is winning the best new comer award, it was a great honour to be nominated by my colleagues for the award.

What are your hobbies outside of work?

My main hobby outside of work is rugby, I play at Oakmeadians RFC in Bournemouth, as well as rugby, I am a keen golfer although I’m not any good at it.
