The shortlist for the 2022 Investors in People Awards has been announced, with AJC Group shortlisted for UK Employer of the Year (up to 49 employees).

Investors in People (IIP) has revealed the shortlist for its Employer of the Year categories, together with 15 organisation awards, and five categories for individuals. The winners will be announced at a gala ceremony on Tuesday 15th November at Old Billingsgate in London.

In the four years since AJC Group commenced trading, the company has tripled its turnover, profit and team. The founding trio of directors has grown to a multi-disciplined team of 30 professionals, with AJC Group receiving an accreditation from IIP in 2022.

David Cracklen, Director of AJC Group, said: “We have the hard work and dedication of our entire team to thank for being shortlisted for the IIP UK Employer of the Year Award. Our vision is underpinned by a set of values, motivated by social responsibility and we believe this is the glue that binds our wonderful team together.”

“We have grown our team and turnover by 300 per cent during the past financial year and are on track to become the leading developer of affordable housing across the Wessex region. This distinctive edge gives our team purpose, and everyone identifies with our core values of integrity, passion, unity, and doing different. We are really looking forward to the IIP awards event in November, as well as the years ahead, as we are on target to increase annual turnover by 50 per cent year on year.”

AJC Group has been shortlisted for the prestigious national award alongside Delph Dental Practice, Orthoderm Ltd, Pendre Surgery, Recovery Cymru, Skybound Therapies, and Slam Marketing.

Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “In what has been the biggest and most competitive year so far, it always makes me feel immensely proud to see so many fantastic organisations and individuals staking their claim to be the best. And every year, the award entries do get more and more competitive and the judging even tighter. Reaching the final shortlist is a testament to the amazing commitment these organisations are making to make work better for their people. They truly deserve this recognition.”
