AJC Group Charity Golf Day Raises Nearly £10,000 for The HealthBus Trust
<< Back

AJC Group’s charity golf day swung into action this month, at Wimborne’s beautiful Remedy Oak Golf Club – and what a day it was! With 22 teams, 88 players (including three AJC teams), and plenty of friendly rivalry, we raised nearly £10,000 in support of The HealthBus Trust.

Tim and Deano from HealthBus joined us on the day, cheering on from the fairways as teams battled it out for the top spot. After 18 holes of serious competition (and not-so-serious banter), the winners were:

  • 1st place: Elliotts
  • 2nd place: Trethowans
  • 3rd place: The Dream Team – Barts Brickwork

Alongside the team prizes, individual honours were handed out for Best Individual Score, Nearest to the Pin (Par 3 and Par 4), and Longest Drive. We also had the ever-popular “Beat the Pro” challenge.

After play wrapped up, our very own Ben Peddie, Operations Director, led the afternoon auction, which included everything from four-ball experiences at some of the South’s best courses, to meals at luxury restaurants, tickets to Southampton Boat Show and Bournemouth FC games, and even a “Director for a Day” package at AJC.

David Cracklen, Director at AJC Group, said: “We’re hugely grateful to everyone who joined us, our contractors, suppliers, friends and partners, for making the day such a success. The HealthBus Trust does vital work supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our community, and to raise nearly £10,000 is something we’re incredibly proud of. It was a great day of golf, good company, and giving back.”

A big thank you to all our trusted supply chain partners, subcontractors, consultants, clients and guests who took part, donated prizes, and supported the event. Same again next year?
